Well, what shall I put here? First of all, I am going to look for a better photograph! But in the meantime you will have to make do with that.

I am a 30 year old youth worker who has been married to my wonderful wife Rachel for just over 2 years.  I currently work part time for the Central Baptist Assocation as the Youth Development Worker, part time for Croxley Green Baptist Church as the Associate Minister for Youth

I am the youngest of 4 siblings and come for a loving Christian family. Church has always been something in my life. I don't know about you, but sometimes I wish I had a more "dramatic" conversion story to tell, you know the sort. A guy on the wrong side of the tracks, living hard and fast, dicing with death, the law and everybody; suddenly meets God in some dramatic and life changing way. From that point on, his life is radically different and can speak for hours on the saving grace of God.

Well, thats not my story. My story is much more ordinary, a long term project as it were. I always went to church, not because I was "forced" to go, but because it was fun, and just seemed like the normal thing to do. Over time, I realised that God was real and not just a nice idea and committed my life to Him. Since then it has been a gradual process of discipleship where I have to daily struggle with trying to live, work and serve the way Jesus would want me to. Maybe not dramatic or "powerful" but I know that God has been ever-present in my life, in EVERY situation I have faced.

Ok, so what are the things that interest me, the guy running this site. Well here is a list!

I love reading (never find the time to read all that I want)
Writing is also a passion of mine (again I struggle with time but I have been trying to write a novel for longer than I care to remember)
Engaging with theology is also a passion of mine, its partly why I like reading, but also why I like discussing and debating stuff with friends.
In a previous job (before God called me to youth work) I was a gardener and loved that and am looking foward to getting a garden when we move to Croxley Green.
My wife and I also have a fish tank with tropical fish which I can spend ages just watching them swim round and round!
Films are another thing I enjoy.
I also enjoy the odd pint of Guinness every now and then!
